A successful project, whether it’s a major headquarters or a small renovation, requires a clear understanding of future needs. During PLAN Aa addresses both pre-design and design issues—issues related to site, space, form, function and budget, and schedule. Aa helps make sure from the start that each project will come in on time with help from our customized Project Management Schedule (PMS). Our PMS tracks Team and Client tasks throughout the planning phase and beyond.

A critical Aa management tool is our computerized cost analysis. This tool is used to update detailed cost information through all phases of project plans and beyond. Please take a look at a sample of our comprehensive Implementation Budget.

A distinctive optional design tool we use is the electronic design charette. The charette features 2-3 days of on-site planning and design sessions with client representatives. These intense partnering meetings, enhanced with notebook computers and sophisticated 3-D software, culminates in virtual “walk-throughs” in a fraction of the time normally required.
